I'm going to do the ride. Karen said it will get me out of the house probably a good thing. Phoebe lived a good 14.5 year life healthy until the last 2 months. I'll be there before 10:30. See you there.

Thanks Loafer, It's never easy having a loved one pass on. Pets are always there in good times and bad times giving there love and making those bad times a bit better. She was a good dog and brought many good times to us. She will be missed dearly.

Sorry Neil you said you were taking the pike home. We only went 80 miles when you made the gas signal. Thought we would get off at the yankee candle exit, gas a DD rest room break which I did. 288 miles, my butt did fine until the last 65, needed to pull out the air cushion.

What a ride though I can't remember the last time where there were no cars except though the towns. That's what I like open roads. another 4 state ride down. I'm wiped out though. I might have to rethink the Adirondack ride 300 miles each of 2 days i don't know might need to add another day in and hit you and the Canadians on the way back.

Always a good time riding with you thanks for lunch next one's on me.

Just got in. As usual it was great riding with you. Hit bumper to bumper traffic after turning on to the Pike all the way in to the Natick rest stop.

It was a great ride today. As you said the roads were perfect and that little breeze made the ride really enjoyable. I'll have to check my mileage tomorrow. The traffic did me in. I left the house at 6:45 this morning and got home at 6:45 tonight. I needed the seat time and it was good to get it.

So are you going to reverse the Adirondack trip so that you end up in the Burlington/Colchester area the day that I'm meeting with everyone?

I think you should go back to Dot's parking lot for some more exercise. I want to know where people park around that area if they want to eat. I didn't see any on street parking areas.

Looks like you guys had a great ride. I wish I could have made it but was a really good call on my part to skip it.

Maybe next ride something not as long. Maybe a Quabbin loop ride.

I just checked the mileage and I did 410 miles today.

Parking at Dot's, they don't need no stinkin parking. Your suppose to come into town on the bus with all the other tourist.
On the West end of the town you can usually find something, near the liquor store. But parking is at a premium. Wish I could have done this ride but other commitments had to be honored first.
