250 miles on the bike yesterday and the new air filter mod was perfect!!!!!

It does look great. That first picture of the APC filter is kind of an optical illusion. At first, the filter looked like it was installed upside down.

On Chuckster's plate, are the mounting bolts countersunk? OR, how much carving on the filter's base did you have to do?

The mount bolt holes are countersunk, but the screws he originally sent were about 1/8" too long, and bottomed out. I used the stock mount bolts for now. I got an email from him this morning, he's sending shorter bolts which should work.
As for carving the filter base, it was significant enough. I may buy an extra and carve away to keep as a spare. Actually, I used a grinder on my dremel to get bas how I wanted.

I thought about going the hypercharger route too, but the money for the same performance results kept me from doing it. Yours looks real nice though, especially with the solo setup.

your seat sprung a leak. your gonna have to fix that.

The seat is designed specifically like that for cooling effect.

Orderd the Spectre filters, part # 48059, on 29th of
august, got them delivered today 20th of november.

Well, now I´ve got something to do.. ;)
