Replacement Seat

I see on Kawasaki web site that they sell a gel seat touring for $250 dollars. Has anyone ever bought one and if so how was it?

I took My stock seat to a local Upholsterer, I asked to have the back of the Drivers seat shaved off so it was more straight up and down. Stock kept pushing me forward. It helped a lot. 60 bucks and all stock looking but more comfortable. They can install pads if you want, then put the cover back on.

I have read it is not much if at all better than the stock seat.

Sorry didn't notice you had a Vaquero when I first wrote this - my seats were for a Nomad 1600

I tried one of them - got both the driver & passenger gel seats & had Grasshopper custom fab a backrest to fit with taller than stock seat heights - ran them for a while, felt ok - but ended up going with a Mustang wide touring set with driver backrest it felt better to me.

I still have the gel seats & grasshopper back rest --- make me an offer if you're interested.
