Hey Ya'll!

Thanks guys, I keep looking at the 02-04 due to being a 1500. I'm gonna ask stupid questions. The weight of the 1500 is better than a newer 1700. But my main question is the width of the frame. I set on an 02 several years ago and only liked my heels getting down. Taller boots will work and maybe a little seat mod. I'm not wanting to spend alot of money since I'm on the down hill slide toward old age! I'm going to call the owner tonight and discuss the bike with him. He apparently needs to sell quickly. His ebay price of $4300 didn't meet his reserve. I know that he wants $5200.00 last week. So, we'll see. The fairing is the Premeaux with some quages, radio, mp3 and speakers. I don't care for the huge trunk but thast would be easily taken off and maybe moved to the single rider position as a back rest. Just dreaming. I want to do some long distance riding and would hope this bike would do this.

Hey Ya'll!

sounds like a deal to me, however if you want to do some distance riding the trunk in my opinion is the way to go for extra cloths and such.i would,nt trade mine for anything, also the fairing with a stereo can also help with distance rides.good luck and as always ride safe
