I'm from the Northeast region but I heard you knock way over here.
Thought I would answer the door to see who was there.

Hey Greg! Yeah....we're still around, but I think there are only a few of us that are very active on the forum here in the NW. There are a lot of NW members now....but very few who chime in here regularly.

What's going on down there? There's still snow flurries up here off an on...sheesh....!

I'll pipe in... Hi Guys. Haven't done a lot to the Nomad this winter. Currently wiring in a trailer towing Isolation Relay. Put new front tire on the Valkyrie and working on some fork lowers that I'm fab. a left/right bracket. Also working on my little "Bushtec" trailer (undercarriage and wireing stuff all done). Mostly just poking around in the garage.

Hi Greg, I still check in "New Posts" almost daily. I haven't gone through the "side boards" in a long time. Hope to see you in Kanab or Canmore or both.

Yeah, I guess you have a good point. The "New Posts" feature kind of makes the sideboards obsolete doesn't it? But it is nice having some interaction with my "homies" once in awhile.

We all know how long the winters and the rain can wear on us and how much we look forward to the to those too far and in between dry days when we actually have time in our schedule take a ride.

It seems whenever we have one of those nice days I am out of town on business or I am too darn busy in town. This thing we call work is getting in the way of life. Between work and knee surgery I haven't put more than 100 miles on my bike since Thanksgiving. Sucks. This has been my worst winter since I got back into riding. But I am determined to change that around next week!

I did have a glimmer of hope that I could combine a work trip and the SW Rally in Kanab to make a surprise appearance, but my daughter just informed us she will be visiting from Kentucky that week and I won't miss seeing her for anything. I can't wait until she moves home for good.

Thanks for checking in guys. Lets not let this NW group area go the way of the brick phone!

I agree Greg....let's keep trying to check in here once in awhile. It would be nice to see some of the new NW guys do the same....

And you told me this why....?? Must be a business trip of some sort, eh...since there is no time for pleasure.... Sorry I'll miss you...I could have shown you my new front tire that arrived today.... The rear is supposed to arrive late tomorrow and I'm sure it will be deja vu for the UPS driver.... I ordered them together but they must have shipped from two different warehouses. This is my fourth set of Avon Cobra's. Chaparral has a great sale on them right now...! They won't go on the bike for another couple months...but at least I'll have them before my big trips this summer.

Are those Cobras radial tires? 4th set??? How many miles are you getting from them frt.and back. I presume it's different on the frt and what you get on the back. And where did you buy them again? Can you send me the web site? Thx

I know you were in San Bernadino a couple years ago for the LLWS, did you get to see Chapparal Motorsports....the largest motorcycle store in the world? I have been in there 3 times. Each time just amazes me. I get tired looking at everything. I sure hope they sell alot over the internet because I have not seen more than 10 customers in there any of the 3 times.

Good to know about the Avons, I need a rear tire this year.

Cheers
