Looking, but not seeing motorcycles

Here's a test of how well you can concentrate and see what's right in front of you.

Dan,
Pretty cool, I must admit, I never saw it. So what does that say about me?

I saw the correct number of passes, but missed the second part.

It probably means that you see what you are concentrating on seeing, and totally miss what you are not looking for. And that's what cars often do.

Motorcycles are not invisible, but like this example can be totally missed simply because it isn't one of the items people look for.

I've had a theory that if motorcycles blew up with a big mushroom cloud that inilated whatever hit it, people would see them. If that were the case, people would focus their attention on making sure there was no exploding 2 wheeler anywhere near a collision course with them.

The problem isn't that they can not be seen, it's that they aren't not looked for.

I'm the same as everybody else, missed the 2nd part. Another biker in the office missed the passes, saw the 2nd part. He always has been a little odd.

I got both right. Counted the passes on the first one and looked a little closer on the second one
