So.....Kawasaki was actually looking out for our health and longevity in making Nomads burn 91 octane and staying far far away from diesel. I knew there was a noble reason.

Well Im the new kid on the block but I have got to get in on this one. I just sold the 86 Wing after riding it and the Nomad for a couple of months. No matter how hard I tried the old GL1200 would blister the 03 Nomad from the line to the top everytime.Did I just say I sold the Wing and kept the Nomad ? Yea thats right the Nomad Is much more comfortable to ride even against the 2007 Wing I tried out. It also handles better and I dont run out of the curves anymore. Now their is a Kawa 2000 sitting beside the Nomad that the brother rides. Lets see the Goldwing jump on that one. And by the way this has been a very informative forum. Reminds me of the Dieselstop forum, lots of good info. ;D

I'm sorry to disagree but power and handling wise I'd say a Goldwing would lose a Nomad right from the gitgo.

Probably right beez...however, you are around my height... I have a 07 Wing that has minor damage on the rear to sell (for business)...It just does not have the room that our bikes have in my opinion....I was very disappointed when I sat on it and rode it around.....was expecting a lot more room to spread out.
