Vermont Roads Warning...

Are you planning to travel through Vermont?
In Vermont these past few weeks, we have had the wettest spring ever. There is too much water in the ground.
Mud slides are happening along some roadways. Flash flooding is occurring throughout the area. Several major travel roads have been closed due to water covering the road or due to washouts. They are working around the clock to get these roads open again.
Expect there to be pavement to gravel to pavement, along with dirt in the air. The interstates I-89 and I-91 seem to be Ok, but where there are low spots in the roadway expect to find ponding water in the road. The storm drains are being over worked.
Come to Vermont or travel through, you will be fine as long as you are aware of changing road conditions, and ride appropriately. Safe riding to all.
