Not unless you put an aftermarket exhuast system on. Then, only if you can swap out the mufflers for a brand that has different tips! Better off to try and rig something up IMHO. I went with V & H from pipes - Supertrapp SE mufflers - Billet Slash Down tips. Could have had about 8 different tip options, there was a Turn down tip available. I think ( not sure) Road house has some options for their mufflers?

I think TopCat put the Fishtail extensions for the Harley factory touring extensions. You can do the same with the turndowns. He said he got them on ebay for 50 - 75 dollars.
Try there first. He put them on his stock pipes too!

rflnomad is correct. I put the Screamin' Eagle Harley fishtail tips on my stock pipes. They came from Ebay for $86 total including shipping. They were new never used and if you buy them from a dealer they sell for $130.

My tips on Stocke pipes, that had the silencer removed,,, These were test fit ,,and now sit alittle farther back and are painted Black,, LOOK good to me :)....They are 2"x1 1/4" copper reducing couplings... Hey Radco, did that change the tone after your copper tips were installed? I think you did the silencer removal so I just wondered about the tone.

I have a set of SuperTrapp SE's on my Harley with turn down
tips and love 'em. Wish Roadhouse made them for my Roadhouse Dooleys that I have on my Nad.
Ride safe,
Dano

I saw these on cyclemaxohio's website today while I was ordering some chaps:
http://cyclemaxohio.com/inc/sdetail/202

I guess one would need to know the i.d. of the turn-downs and the o.d. of the pipes.

Yes I have the silencer renoved,,,, I purchased the modded exhaust all ready done,,,,they useda 2" hole saw I think and had a space around the inner pipe..The stock exhaust is 1 1/4" If I remember right so thats why I went with the 1 1/4" opening....if I went smaller dont know if it would cause too muct back pressure,, As for TONE.. Yea IMO alittle bit deeper, not much,,,and IMOO looks better then seeing the inner pipe LOL......Rich

Jardine makes (or made) some of turn downs specifically for the Nomad - you might still be able to find them on Ebay or some other suppliers.
