Wanted: Stock Nomad 1600 Seats

I am looking for stock seats (and seat hardware if you have it) that would fit a 2005 Nomad 1600.

Would be shipping to zip 28031

Give me a price I can't refuse!

I have a Corbin 1 piece. It is ok for just me, but the back slopes down and Mrs. Mongo says it makes her feel like she is falling off. And, I would not call it "comfortable" on rides over 300 miles.

I was just curious as someone on here may want to work some kind of trade.
It has been known to happen.

The stock seats aren't very comfortable for most people.

If you felt this corbin you would agree...can't be any worse! Like I said though, the design is more the issue then comfort. The back slope is made to look cool, not ride a passenger.

And, I don't have $600 laying around for a Mustang seat...

I don't know, after about 60 miles on the stock seat on my 2007 I knew I needed another seat. Bought a Mustang and rode on it for 51,000 miles. A good seat is the best money you can spend and can make all the difference when it comes to quality of ride.

Bummer....I recently tossed my OEM 1600 Nomad seats at the dump....I tried to find a new owner for a long time with no luck. Figures...but the OEM seat is garbage anyways....pull the trigger on a used Mustang if you can find one. I too put well over 50k miles on a Mustang on my old steed...far better than the stock seat.

Keep an eye on Craigslist and eBay, as Mustang seats come up frequently.

With a little luck, you can pick up a set of used Mustang seats for not much more than you'll likely spend on a set of stock take-offs.

They really, REALLY are worth a couple hundred more than stocks... both of your butts will thank you!

Dennis kirk has the best prices on the mustang. I picked up mine for $366, now I see it's on sale for $348. Studded ones are now $368. I love the fit. https://www.denniskirk.com/mustang/t...prd/454712.sku

If you can find a lower advertised price on the Internet, Dennis Kirk will beat that price "by a buck".
