"txcwdancer"...One of our own is gone........

It has been said that "Four wheels move the body, Two wheels move the soul" and from what I read in his blog there may not be anyone with more soul than Chuck.
I am sure that if there weren't Nomads in heaven, there are today.

RIP Chuck
May all your rides be sunny and calm.

Chuck has a bigger map to color in now and an eternity to do it in. I feel I can see him now with a map of heaven spread out before him as he plans to explore each and every corner and goes to see some old friends. Post a new thread Chuck and tell us all about it.

My heart is broken...! I shall miss Chuck, his quick smile, gentle southern accent and his ever-present cowboy hat.

Chuck and I spent an hour+, last Saturday night...at the Oregon rally, planning his trip to Reno in 2009. We were going to then take a comprehensive tour of California....a state he had seldom visited. He and I shared many stories and laughter at Custer, SD and Kanab, UT.

RIP old friend.......

I just pulled up Chuck's last 40 posts...what a great guy. Obviously loved to ride and meet people. In his blog of his recent trip(s) the highlight was seeing his son + young grandson(s). He almost made it home. Tough to read the blog but shows so much of himself. Link Below.

Oh my God, I can not believe this. I just logged on and saw this and my heart just about sunk to the ground. What a sad day. I got to meet Chuck at the central rally in June. What a great guy. He led a group of us back to Texas after the rally and I got to spend some time along the way getting to know him. He will be missed. RIP

Bob

Shocked and saddened to read the news. I am thankful that I had the honor to meet and visit with gentleman Chuck in Eureka Springs. Healing prayers for his family.

An extremely sad day is when we lose any member in pursuit of what we all are here to share, but doubly sad that such a valued member is lost. Even though I never met Chuck, I nonetheless grieve his loss and pray for his family. Perhaps KawaNOW as a group can send flowers or make a donation. Let me know where we can send some token of our grief and respect.

I am saddened by this news. Again a stark reality to the risks of riding and, sadly, the perceptions of other motorists. May Chuck rest in peace.
