Rode this past Mon. after dark with some friends, they said it really helps! Still working on brackets to mount my RadioCaddyFairing! Nice job Goose; Is that a homemade rack holding the trunk?

Yes, He made that rack himself. There was another post on this somewhere. This one looks plenty strong....

Yea, one of my buddies I ride with helped me with it.
After we came up with the design he took them to work where he has a press/brake and bent them up for me and I welded them up.

You might consider, along with your friend in marketing that pattern or actual brackets. I have tought maybe someday of adding a trunk, and I'd like to think I could get one like that one. I don't have tools, time, or skills to design and cut something that looks and performs like the one you have pictured there. Thats a great job you have done. :)

Thanks Utah, Kudzu, got them off e-bay $40 a piece [ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=STRK ] JCWhitney has the same ones for $50 a piece, welded the brackets on them and also made baffles for them out of some 1.5" exhaust pipe, got about $100 in the set. I had bought a set of Jardine's right after I got it, but I never liked the sound of them so I put the stockers back on it until I got these, and I used the Jardine head pipes with these slip-ons.
