Tropical Storm (hurricane) Fay is expected to make landfall in my backyard :(" title="" border="0"/>
Please say a prayer for us and our brothers and sisters in South Florida that this will not be more than just a rain maker.
Will probably be out of touch for a few days as we are expected to be without power.
Fingers crossed...
Joe

We have ALREADY been thinking of you and prayers are too. We went through Francis, Jeanne, and Wilma and it sucked. The eye came over the house for all three. Direct hits.
Just remember, LOOK UP. Count power line to see if they are down and call them in. We watched a guy get electrcuted just two houses down after Jeanne; it was scary. The line was on his garbage truck and he jumped from the truck. But when he went back, and touched the door... direct short.
Please Joe, Be careful.

We are all battened down and the bike is secure. We have a 1/2 day tomorrow. It looks like we are only going to get some bad rain and some wind. Joe, well brother, consider my prayers heading your way. I have a couple buddies in the middle of the state that took 3 hits a couple years ago and things aren't even all the way back to normal yet.

We are getting some good storms right now, I think later we will get more storms but luck out on the wind. Kids leave in about an hour or so but we stay till 3.

UNREAL. This is heading our way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can't get a break!!!! Pounded by rain, wind and debris. This sucks.
Now the Weather channel says it is slowly getting stronger. :(" title="" border="0"/> We have a 40' wide by 10' deep swale behind the house. It is FULL and the rain is still cranking.

rflnomad...
Sorry to hear you are in the bulls eye again... :(
Let us know you're OK when it's over. Just came in from cleaning up the downed tree limbs and putting things back in order. More work to do when the flood waters recede over the next few days.
Be safe..Joe

Latest tracking shows Fay going over us on Thurs. Weather reports says it may pick up some energy on the way here but they are often overstating. At least the refrigerator is stocked with Honey Porter. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away so I may go down and watch the surf and look for waterspouts.

Cheers!
