I can do it, but only with tourmaster jacket and pants, balaclava and heated gloves. I'd never make it up north!

Welcome to tha south brudda!
The 25F riding was a 14 mile commute in April a couple of times. This was accomplished the first time with chaps, a leather jacket with liner and insulated gloves. Thereafter, I skipped the chaps and used regular gloves. Normal riding I'm good down to 40F with chaps and jacket w/liner. The secret is bodyfat.

Unfortunately, that has been taken as a challenge and as soon as I can find anyone brave enough to snap the photo I will be posting.

Just be aware of the the official un-official rules governing the posting of obscene (or perceived to be obscene) pictures, photographs, drawings or likenesses anywhere but in the "Lighter Side forum". We would hate to have to exact punishment for a violation! The KawaNOW police have been known to take no prisoners! ::)

Thanks to all for welcoming me to the other half of the east coast. One more trip up north to complete the move this weekend. Liking it down here very nicely. Rode out to Sandbridge Beach the other night with my GF and then me and the boys went out the next night swimming while she was in school. Still trying to get the dizzying myriad of streets mapped in my head, but not as easy as it is up north. I am finding more preferred riding areas nearby and looking forward to seeing the rest of Virginia this autumn and neighboring states as well.
