What are the white wall options for a 1600 Nomad?

Personally, you couldn't give me a set. I had them on my Suzuki and got tired of trying to keep them looking white.

You are pretty well are limited to 150/80/16 as far as sizes go for the Nomads. Metzeler, Dunlop and Maxxis are your choices, there may be a couple others as well but they are limited. Id avoid the Metzelers as they don't sem to be as good as they once were. You do have to clean them a little more often to keep them looking good but to me its worth it. I like the look of them on some bikes.

What about the rear tire? You're suggesting putting a 150 on the rear too?

I think Steve has a 1500 so his tire size would be different than yours.

Yep, thats what a few others have had to do on the 1600's. It will be fine on the same rim. Unless you can find a whitewall car tire with the whitewall on both sides. I think there is or was a place that will custom make one for you like that.

I have an '06 1600 Nomad and I have searched and searched for a rear whitewall. No luck. Dunlop makes the front ww which I like. I'm hoping that when I go to the dark side I'll be able to find a ww. I like the the ww because of the retro look. BnG

The WW on a car tire will only be on one side.
