1 month + 1 Voyager + Garry = 10,000 miles

Sockets for mp3 and ipod in left hand compartment. You can control the ipod via the radio function button and see display on radio lcd screen. (I'm told) When I get mine I will show pics! lol
Don't think I would want to have the compartment able to be opened without key, A, might open via vibration, B, you want to get it pinched?
I couldnt afford a gold wing either, and wife insisted on new, so it had to be voyager (shame eh)!

Voyager at dealership here in Ms. (Vicksburg) is selling for $15,799. Don't know if a Wing is worth $10,000 more. Plus the Wing doesn't even sound like a motorcycle, more like a high-powered weedeater, and way too much plastic. Love the classic look and sound of my V-Twin. That Voyager will be hollering at me in 3 or 4 years ( or the Nomad or the V2K).

5800 miles out of a rear tire !! Something is way wrong there. I have NEVER heard of a touring bike getting less than 10K out of a tire. I get 6500-7000 on my Hayabusa riding hard! 12,000 on my VTX 1800. 18,000 on my 98 Wing.

In the left hand glove box is a plug in for an I-pod and MP3. you just have to buy a cable through Kawasaki

Regarding the locking boxes. I am thinking something like your car glove box...a positive latch that you can lock if you choose.

Mr Clean that is a sweet looking ride!

I agree....if the difference is 10k between the Voyager and the Wing I would go with the Voyager too. Voyager is much better looking....but it is hard to beat the power and smooth ride of a Wing.

Garry,

Did you ever find out what the reason for your low mileage out of the rear tire? How did the replacement do?

It was normal wear on the stock Bridgestone, others have reported 6-8000 miles.
I replaced it with a Dunlop E3 160/80B-16 and it went 22,000 miles.
