Back in the saddle again!

I got my bike back from American Ironhorse. Everything looks to be in good shape except the handle bars. They are still a little bent from the impact, but my new ones are supposed to get here today. I'll probably put them on this weekend. The total damage amount (parts and labor) calculated by the insurance adjuster was $2452.54. Minuse the $500 deductable, they paid $1952.54. American Ironhorse took $1320.02 for the repairs they did, and gave me a check for $623.52 to cover the parts I'm responsible for replacing. It sure feels good to be on the bike again. I think after all is done, the bike will be better than before the accident.

good to hear you're on two wheels once more. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and you can get some riding in this weekend before the next front comes through.
