Hi all, Somewhat new to the forum thanks to you all for the insurance advice, my 02 Nomad is now registered and insured. I have just completed my first out of the parking lot ride!!! Only 30 miles around town and through Wompatuck State Park, but it is a start. Other than the MSF course I have not been on a bike of any kind for over 20 some years, it was great!! Still a bit nervous at the slower speeds (my nomad is a big girl ::)), but I could feel myself gaining more and more confidence as the ride went on. Well here's to many more miles on my Nomad!!

Welcome from Arizona. Take it easy for the first 600 miles or so. Always the most dangerous time on a new ride. You will definitely enjoy the Nomad as you get more used to it.
