New Nomad 1700 Owner in Las Vegas

Hi, I'm Stan.
Haven'towned a bike in 22 years, now I have two. Last November took a MSF course and bought a 800 Vulcan Classic. Sharpened up my skills and was ready to move up. I was looking to sit on a new Nomad for a couple months but they were nowhere to be found in Las Vegas.

When taking a long weekend to visit friends in Phoenix I thought I would check out a few Kawasaki dealers to see if I could find a new Vulcan.

Well I did and by Saturday night I owner a red/beige Nomad. Rode it home (300 miles) on Sunday. Wasn't the greatest ride since the winds were 20-40 MPH. However, even limited by the wind and break in procedures I could tell it's a solid bike and will elaborate more in future posts as I just passed 400 miles.

I will post pictures also when I figure out how to do it.

Congratulations Stan, we met in the store while you were buying the new ride. Glad you made it back to LV okay and found the forum. You probably had less trouble with the wind than riders using other brands. Check the forum FAQ at the top of the page and it will give information about adding pictures amongst other things.
