Update. Last evening we moved Barb to a Transitional Care Center on the same campus as the hospital. She will be receiving physical and occupational therapy multiple times daily. She has been in a hospital bed for a month and needs help getting her strength back. This is a great step in getting her home. Thanks to all for the well wishes.

Update; Barb is doing much better, she is walking unassisted and is off of the feeding tube. She no longer needs OT but is still getting PT twice daily. Her color is back to close to normal and her sense of humor has returned. She is physically near ready to come home but the Dr.'s need to sign off on her blood work. Her liver and kidney numbers are getting better daily, so she may be home sooner than later. She is looking forward to coming home, as am I. She says thanks for all the well wishes and can't wait to see everyone again.
