Barb is out of I.C.U.
She is on a modified diet.
She had PT today
She had OT today also
She looks and feels 100% better
I thank everyone for their prayers.
I thought I lost her last Sunday.

I didn't expect to hear any different!!!!

I'm not certain but I image she has a lot of recouping, pills and doctors appointment ahead but at least the tough part is over.

I knew that chick had attitude!!!!

Hi Mike

So sorry to hear of Barb's health issues but very glad to hear she is rallying so well.

We met Barb in Red Lodge in Montana. Very nice person.

Well thanks for scaring the hell out of us Mike

Seriously, real relieved Barb is recovering nicely and hope she continues to mend. Like I said, you two have many more miles to ride.

Hey Gibby,

Just saw this. I am glad Barb is doing better and am praying that her recovery goes well.

I know how you're feeling. Krystal was in the hospital for a rupture appendix back in 2014. She was in ICU for 2 weeks and the hospital for another 4. You know where I am and if you need to talk let me know on Facebook. I keep up more there than here.

Just be sure to take care of yourself. I kept hearing that during those 6 weeks of hell and didn't really listen to them. After she made it home I was virtually worthless for several months myself just recuperating from the mental strain.

Things like this are rough on old folks like us ain't it?

My wife was in the ICU with a Colitis attack. It was the first time and we didn't know what the problem was passing blood and thought she was having a heart attack. It worried me so much I nearly passed out in the ICU.

So, Mike we all know what you're going through and our thoughts are with you and Barb.

I don't get on the forum much and just saw your post Mike. Sad to hear all you both have been through. Glad Barb is doing much better. Cheryl and I will add you both to our morning prayers.

I would like to thank everyone for your kind words.
Barb is still in very serious condition and her improvement is at a snails pace. Dr.'s are talking about possibly moving her this week to transitional care where she will get more Physical Therapy than the hospital can provide. She is very weak because her liver isn't doing what it is supposed to do. I am with her whenever I am not at work or sleeping and I try to encourage her to eat and try and get her strength back. Like I said, snails pace. I'll keep you all updated with her progress, and once again thank you all.
