Wanna change ? No speedlimit against your gun laws, passing in the right sight. Right turns on red, same speed limit for all vehicles. Low fuel prices and much more . . .

BonVoyager is correct. The saying , the grass is always greener on the other side is reality. Means, most americans would like to have things we habe, but a lot of germans would like to have things you have.

What BonV and Sven said...
The Autobahn and "priroity roads" are things I truely about driving in Germany. I would quickly miss; right turn on red, and buying gas buy the gallon, not the litre (and the price difference)...

Ride safe,
Smokier

No regular gas anymore here . Only premium Fuel available. 1.30 Euro per Liter which is 1.59 US-$ per Liter which is about 6 US-$ per gallon.

Sounds like a discount price to me . . .

Have fun !

Sven

My local gas station, premium is currently NZ$2.08 (1.21Euro, US$1.49) per litre, US$5.63 per gallon.

Sven wins! How can gas possibly be more expensive in a highly populated part of the world like Europe, than it is way down in sparsely populated and very far away NZ... where it all has to be shipped using tankers?

It is not the fuel itself, it is the local taxes on it. If there would be no tax on our fuel, we would have to pay approx. 0.30 Euro per liter, so . . .

Blame the frickin' government . . .

Sven

Sven,

I'll take your chocolate any day. We have had 2 exchange students and they send a box of goodies for Christmas.

Everything else you can keep.

I would agree, but some german bread, beer and bratwurst are also mostly better, but . . .

I would love to change from germany to the usa, but even your immigration law is waaaay better than ours.

I've had MCII's for several years. They hold up really well, never any issues.

I was at a shop yesterday discussing stereo upgrades, and he asked me 'why do you have a rear tire on the front?'. I had those tires put in at an actual Kawasaki dealer in Orlando. I had no idea. He explained the difference in rear & front tire construction and said the true front tire would make the bike handle better. Told him to order a front MCII and will get it installed next week. I'll keep the other one for a rear change later. Who knew??

Funny on the tires since the front is also called an MT 90 when it is on the back??. Which was the rear tire for my old Honda 500 CX custom?
