Cleaning out the garage

I have just got to the point I can't stand the mess anymore so I am cleaning out the garage and going to make a trip to the scrap yard. I have some pieces of V & H exhaust. An old finial drive off of my 01 Classic, the bent forks off of Liz's 04 Nomad and the factory exhaust off of both of our 08 Nomads. I also have pieces of iron, rail road rail, copper pipe, scrap pieces of electric wire, an old ceiling fan, pieces of an old boat trailer tounge, etc. Strange the things we keep thinking we will us them someday. Right now, to me, just junk that needs to go.

Jim. what do you think it would cost to ship me 1 set of the OEM exhaust systems? I have been contemplating a modification and having a complete system with bladder to mock it up on would be nice.

If I had to guess, Missouri to North Carolina UPS ground wouldn't be less than $50 - $70. The OEM exhaust systems are quite heavy and have to be in an oversized box. If ever you are driving through LA, you are welcome to stop and pick up mine.

The reason I was thinking about getting rid of them was that there are several on the VBA classified adds and on the VROC classified adds. All of them going for $50 to $100 plus shipping. There might be a set close to NC. Are you going to the VROC reunion or the Antler's rally?

Ross,
Had I known you wanted the exhaust system, I could have brought Mitch's closer to you while I was there visiting.

Well I decided not to trash the two exhaust systems but everything else went. I had 300 pounds of scrap iron and got $30 for it. I still have some copper I will add to the son's when he is ready to get rid of his stuff. I almost got enough money to off set the cost of what I bought at the Gun Grove and I got the garage cleaned up.

You almost got enough money to pay for the gas it took to drive to the scrap yard. :)
