These are 1" drop shocks so everyone knows and yes that is a good price. I have a set.

R70 - Stock shock length is 14.00"

With the 1" drop in length is it possible that the rear tire would rub in the fender on a large bump with a heavy load on the bike?

Sorry, I just noticed this is the 1500 and 1600 Nomad Forum.

That being said, if 1700 owners know this answer I would appreciate that.

I was about to say the same thing-- 13" is standard length for the 1500/1600 Nomads.. Not sure about the 1700.

I just broke down and ordered the shocks, they were backordered on the black ones so I bought the chrome versions for $399.00 plus $51.00 shipping. That should be about $600.00Cdn, if I don't get hit with taxes. I hope they make a difference.
