Waving New to me 1600 Nomad

Here are some Pics of my new toy. 2006 1600 Nomad with Cobra True Duals exhaust and Tuner. Batwing fairing painted to match. I call her "the Green Hornet" Note the Portable "garage Stand" I made from a sheet of 3/4 plywood and a wheel chock. It's nice for holding the bike upright and secure. I just used some 3/8-16 T-nuts on the backside of the plywood to fasten the wheel chock and eye bolts for tie downs.

Welcome from Northern California.
That bike looks like it did when it was new.
Nice setup for the wheel chock.

Welcome from southern NC. Nice looking bike, you have the most sought color combination. It was only available 1 year.

Thanks for all the nice comments! Just got the bike. My first Cruiser....er my first motorcycle actually! Looking forward to learning to ride competently. I am taking a beginning rider course to get me started off right. I am 6 ft. 5 inches and 230lbs so I think this size bike will eventually be a good fit for my wife and I. I WILL NOT attempt 2-up riding though until I am very competent on the bike myself. I fell in Love with the Kawasaki Nomads while doing my research for a good cruiser. (LOVE the color combo)
I paid $4900 for it and The previous one owner took good care of her. I have the stock windshield (like new) and I am getting ready to do a full maintenance/service. (Oil/final drive/coolant/plugs/air filter etc.) Also gonna ad a Stebel horn and a brake light modulator for safety. This forum has been a great source for me during my research and purchase process. Thanks ALL! Keep it up.
