Chilly riding today

It is 37° out with a clear sky and I am getting ready to do an all day ride. Hoping to ride for 8-10 hours today with some of my buds before the weather turns on us here in MN. Hope all my friends in the NCR are able to get out and have some fun before the white stuff hits. Ride safe and have fun y'all.

Will not get out today, but hoping tomorrow. My garage doors are being replaced this morning from the damage caused by the small tornado we had a couple months ago (whenever they finally get here).

Looks like our fall weather is going to be a bit nippy, to say the least. But I am not ready to give-up just yet. All of the heated-gear is out and ready to be used.

Ride safe today Mike... should be a great day, and the bike should run great with the cool air.

It's chilly here too, Mike. It's not supposed to break 100 here today.

Supposed to top out at 60 F here tomorrow.
We will be riding all day, no heated gear though, longjohns, sweatshirt, leather jacket, insulated gloves and fullface helmet

I'm expecting 104 today. Out on a ride at the moment.

Is that all? Shit, I'd have to get out my insulated knickers if it was that cold.

Its been cool the last couple nights riding home from work, into the 40's. The leaves are already starting to change here on some trees.

Today's ride was great, high temp was 60° with a sunny sky. We rode some of our favorite twisties and had lunch at Slippery's on the Mississippi River in Wabasha, MN. Put about 300 miles on today which brings my season total to about 13,000 miles. Hope everyone that was able ride today had as good a time as I did.

I only got 150 miles in, but at 34 degrees, wind chill kept temps at or below freezing through most of the route... Could have been worse, I suppose. Have to count small blessings - it wasn't snowing

My son the truck driver hit snow Thur/Fri from Livingston MT, through Casper WY to Denver. Dummy didn't take a jacket with him when he left Phoenix and had to buy a "MONTANA" hoodie at a grocery store in Livingston to stay warm. I went yesterday and bought him a nice, fleece lined Carhart coat at Bass Pro Shop. He'll be here to watch football with me today so I can give it to him. I guess he assumed everywhere is as warm as Phoenix or something. I can just see him driving through ND or MN and freezing his arse off. The boy's got some learning to do, he just got his CDL and started driving OTR for Swift. BTW, Phoenix is a lousy place to buy cold weather gear. Most stores sell nothing but light jackets because that's all you need here.

I haven't worn my winter stuff since moving here. My oldest daughter just started at NAU and it's a lot cooler up there. She called the other day and said the high was in the low 60s.

Still have a heavy coat for going to places outside of PHX in the winter. Other than that I usually just wear a light jacket or hoodie around here.
