10 miles into our 1000 mile ride

I was stopped at a stop sign waiting to make a left and the wife was behind me on her bike when some old guy was trying to tell me something and turned left into the path of another SUV. Lucky for me the SUVs stopped before they got to me

. I didn't move the bike thats where I was stopped at.

A little too close, left hand turns and intersections definitely increase our risk factor. Glad they stopped before you were hit.

The old guy was trying to tell you Elaine was flashing him.
This explains why the other driver hit him. He was watching Elaine also.
