Celebration Riders Annual 3 day ride

Every year my friends and I go on a 3 day ride in California. This year 21 of us stayed at Bear Valley resort on Hwy 4 near Lake Alpine.

We left Livermore Friday morning and took hwy 120 with lunch in Jamestown. We were at Bears Valley by 4PM. Hit the heated pool for an hour or so and then a catered prime rib dinner that was awesome. ($25 PP including tax & tip). That night we hung out and played cards.

Next morning we rode east on Hwy 4 over Ebbetts Pass thru Markleville, CA to Gardnerville, NV and south on RT395 to Walker, CA to Mountain House BBQ for lunch. I think our motto is: Till we eat again! Then back Rt395, up and over Monitor Pass and then over Ebbetts pass again to Bear Valley. Pizza Saturday night with some crazy games after involving molding clay into shapes and having to guess what it is.

Sunday morning Alpine Lodge prepared an all you can eat breakfast brunch for us. Then we had Devotions down by the Lake. The ride home got hotter and hotter as we got back down into the valley.

This ride was only 450 miles, but we've done some over 700. If you want to see some pix check our our webpage.

Buy the way 3 kawasakis in the bunch, my Nomad, a 1600 Classic and a 900. We also had a 650cc Suzuki scooter riding 2-up and the rest Harleys. 11 bikes in all.

Sounds like you had a nice ride. I hope mine out to Texas will be a good one. Hooking up on the 6th in Fredericksburg and a ride down to Luckenbach.
