kid: I bought a Filedsheer High temp mesh jacket about $175. Its the most flow thur jacket made. Its all mesh front/back/sleeves and with full armour. it has a rain/insultor liner that zips in which is great. I love it, very flexible.

I bought the Cortech (TourMaster) GX-Air mesh jacket.Like Doc's Fieldsheer, it is all mesh except where the armor is. It also has a rain liner and an insulated liner. It lets a lot of air through, but is still a bit sweaty when I am stopped, in the sun, on a hot day. But, when moving, it is pretty nice. I got it for around $120.

I got a fieldsheer mach 7 mesh jacket at www.motorcyclecloseouts.com
for $79.99. Make sure you order 2 sizes larger than you need (I usually wear a Large but bought a 2X). Mesh helps but it even is warm when it hits 92+.

Cindy and I have Tour Master mesh jackets. Like the others have said, mesh except where the armor is. We have had them for a couple years. The new version has the rain liner go on over the regular jacket. Ours go inside. The new version makes more sense to me.
One note, hers is Black and mine is Grey. Mine seems to be cooler. I don't know if it is the color or what but other than that they are made the same.
Whatever you decide on, I would get a lighter color.

I have the Frank Thomas XTi mesh jacket. I bought it at Cycle Gear last winter for $29.99.It is fully armored and the rain/wind liner stores in a zippered pouch in the lumbar area.

Seems like there are a lot of good choices. I need to pick me up something and with fall coming on might be some good buys on summer things.

My summer jacket is a t-shirt, but I do have a Joe Rocket mesh jacket that works very well. It has removable armor in the elbow, back and shoulder.
