Ticking as the Engine Runs.

After my project of re-wiring my bike so that it doesn't burn wires, I have started the engine with one surprise. I don't remember the a TICKING sound the varies with the engine rpm. Is this normal? Is it because it is COLD out (3 Celsius)? Even after the engine is warm, it was still TICKING. Seemed like it was coming from the front of the engine.....

Is there something wrong?
