What kind of "trunk" would you have that makes your girlfriend slip forward? Are you sure that isn't wishful thinking on your part?
On subject... why don't you tear apart your seat and put new foam in it to slant is backward and recover it? It is NOT that hard to do. It is far easier than doing mechanical work... and you can do that.
