PCV Maps - 2011 Vaquero

Hey good people,

I recently installed a PCV on my 2011 Vaquero. Have Vance & Hines Slash Cut Slip-Ons and a Kuryakyn Air Cleaner. I checked the Dynojet / Power Commander website and all I found were 8 Maps. The closest map I could find was the one with the Slip-ons and a stock air cleaner. Looked everywhere on the internet for a map to match my bike with the two simple mods. I contacted the company this morning and spoke with a tech. He told me they don't have a map for the mods on my bike because they haven't come across this combo of mods. I said, does that mean I'm SOL and have to spend another $250 to have the thing Dyno Tuned ? Yep. C'mon, seriously ? The bike is almost 5 years old.

Anyone know where I can get a map for this or do I have to pay the $250.00

Thanks.

Unless you are trying to get absolutely everything you can out if your bike, I would just plug in the slip-on map from Powercommander. If you ARE trying to get every bit of power you possibly can, then the only way is to get it tuned anyways.

PM me your email and I'll send the map that was sent to me by someone else.

Map is what they used at a dealer here. If it ever stops raining here, I'll get to put it on my bike.

Thanks very much for the response. I just wanted better throttle response especially when starting out from a dead stop. Just a bit of hesitation. And keep it from running hot. A little more power is always nice, but that's not what I'm really after.

I have a "dead" spot it seems around 1500-2000 rpm in 1st and second gear. Googled dead spot on the bike and found a thread that said dead spot gone. They had taken their bike to a place in Dallas and put it on the dyno tune. Did some more searching and found someone who he had sent that map to, and had it sent to me. The map fixed their problem, and I hope it fixes mine too. A little extra power as a bonus is fine with me.

Thanks, much appreciated. Hard to believe Power Commander hasn't come up with a map for this simple set up. Seems to me it wouldn't take them a whole lot to set it up for their customers. Oh well.

That's a bummer! I just bought a Stage 1 Air Intake from Thunder Manufacturing for my 2013 Voyager 1700 and they e-mailed me PCV map for my set up, V&H slip On's with the Air Intake.

Just in case anyone else is wanting the map I have/had, the file at home is empty. I'm pretty sure I saved it to my other computer at work and I'll be checking tomorrow. If not, I can get it from the person that sent it to me and share the file then.

Ok, did some more searching and found the map here.

AJ and Reward, I sent it to you both.

Anyone else wants it, just let me know.

As long as I can remember where I put it.

Hey,
Scooter on here was kind enough to share it with me. I'd be glad to pass it along if you'd like.
