shes going in for new paint.

nooooooooo, i couldnt have her in black.... i like to stand out a bit and the green definetly does that. although i would have her back by now if she was going black. they have finally matched the paint and should have the green sprayed on this week, then next week will be the clear coats and accessory fitting etc. well in theory anyway....

Green is a very slow colour Eds it takes longer to get the paint on mate and even longer to dry,if he had of painted it Black it would be back on the road by now.

still playing the waiting game guys, i called in last wednesday and she was still in primer. i now have the new crash bar etc ready and after over a month of waiting i am getting very trigger happy about my mistress coming home. i will call in again on wednesday to have another look, but im a bit apprehensive as im gunna be real ticked off if theres not a lot of progress done. i finally got to check out the new model nomad last saturday and i gotta say i was very impressed. i even liked the new bags, although they would not look as good in 2 tone. the black really suits it well.

i went for a look see today and boy was i impressed. all the panels were painted and 1 coat of clear applied, he said he still had a bit of rubbing to do and at least one more coat of clearto go on. it looks better than factory already, and he still wants to go further... i might have it back for the weekend, but he said he will not rush it as he wants it to be right.
