Thanks for the responses guys. I just felt like my 10 year anniversary should be marked somehow.

There isn't a lot of things that I've done for a whole decade. I have been riding since I was 14, but never more than a few years on one particular bike. When I found the Nomad, I just kept doing it.

At first I thought I'd get another bike when I was done with the first one, and I'd read motorcycle magazines looking at the potentials. Then when it came down to it, price, practicality, and knowing what to expect would always win out over a new model. Hence, a decade of having a Nomad.

Great summary of ten years!

I've had my Nomad for three weeks now. Managed to put 1000 miles on it so far, but all short trips.

Someday, I'd like to ride thru Utah!

Great Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought my first Nomad and my first bike 10 years ago myself. Since, have had a Yamaha Venture, a Harley Ultra Classic and now back to where it all started a 04 Nomad!!!!!!!!! I love these bikes also and feel just as if not more comfortable on a Nomad as the other 2 larger bikes I have owned. I have met the best friends in the world through bikes>>. I love each year going on what we call the MAN trip on our bikes, usually 5-10 bikers. We will be leaving for the Texas hill country August 18 for a week.. Maybe I will see some of you. I will be the Nomad in with the 7 Harleys!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe someday I'll get a Nomad, if I don't get a Gold Wing first.
