Anyone else around here planning on going to the show? Dec 12-14. Link is below.

I am not sure which day I am going because my daughter is scheduling knee (ACL) surgery around this time in Bellingham. But as sooon as I figure her schedule out I will be making plans for attending the show. Be kind of nice to meet some of you! I hope weather is decent enough to demo the new Nomad!

As a Youth Pastor, my weekends are pretty busy. Plus, that's just after my anniversary, and I'm sure that a motorcycle show wouldn't be my wife's first choice of things to do that weekend...second or third maybe, but not first.

Considering that it almost across the street from where I'm working these days... yep, I'm going. I'll come in to work on Friday morning and attend in the afternoon.

Well was I dissappointed...I see the show does not open until 4pm on Friday.

I suppose my brother and I will drive up early into Seattle, eat a late lunch, and get to the show right at 4pm.

Kris + Big John...if you are still going Friday what time would you like to meet?? Does 5pm at the new Voyager work?? I will be the one drooling.

That works for me. I am planning to hang out at the show for a few hours then head to Montesano to go steelhead fishing on Saturday! I still have your cell phone number Greg and I will PM you mine as well.

WELL!!! That inhales the big one! I was hoping to attend after lunch and still make the 4:30 train home. Well, if I can get nancy to agree, I could be forced to work late then meet you at the Voyager and we can drool together.

We're looking at rain for Friday, so riding is out of the question, but I might still try to see about geting Friday off. Greg, are you driving up and back on the same day, or are you staying in a hotel?

I'm thinking about joining you, and might be able to stay with my in-laws, but everything is still up in the air until at least tomorrow night. I should still have your cell phone number, and will call you by Thursday at the latest. If I choose to come up, may I ride with you to Seattle?

Hi Rich,

Sure no problem. Just let me know!

You do know we are taking my car...not the bike...right?

I think we will leave around 11:30 on Friday, eat in Seattle near the show, arrive at the show right at opening (4PM) walk the show/ meet Kris and BigJohn at 5pm, wait late enough for rush hour to quiet down. Probably leave the show around 7-7:30pm. get back to Vancouver around 10pm.

Yeah, I understood that you were taking the cage, and looking at the weather it made sense. Since arriving at the office today, and all my New Years' Eve plans going down the tubes, I think that I need to stay here.

I really wanted to go, I was looking forward to it, but sometimes you just can't get away. GRRRRRRR.

That is too bad...would have been fun. I feel your pain...I passed on a Death Valley run a month ago due to work and been regretting it ever since....needless to say my riding partners never let me forget!

Well don't be surprised if I end up in your neck of the woods this spring.

You might be surprised just where "my neck of the woods" will be this spring. Give me a couple more weeks and I'll be able to let the cat out of the bag...I hope.
