My son took photos of his Nomad loaded with groceries from Walmart while
we were at Americade. His wife saw the photos, now he gets to do some shopping on his way home from work.

A heavyweight cruiser isn't necessary for shopping.

I never used the bike for shopping or commuting. When it came out of the garage I was gone for the day.

You'd be surprised at the advantages of losing 250-300lbs.

You know you've graduated to a heavyweight cruiser;
When you drop it on its side and can't pick the damn thing up by yourself

I dropped the Voyager and could not pick it up.
I bought a Yamaha FJR and it felt like a bicycle after the Voyager. |
