All hail the sayings of "Vulcan"

Okay, this isn't mine, but I thought it was a great line none the less.
This is for everyone to read before they take their bike out for it's first ride of the season after a long winter's nap.

Now, let us all bow our heads in prayer.............

For yea, it sayeth in the book of Vulcan:
Check closely thy oil before thou ridest afar, lest thy steed spew critical hardware unto thy path afore thee, causing a sadness upon the land.
Amen.

Yes, winter is when you put your engine guard chaps on, so you don't get that cool breeze running up your pants legs. ??? ;)

Amazing! I see a similar statement every time I fire up any of my vehicles:

For yea, it sayeth in the book of Lawnmower:
Check closely thy oil before thou Mowest afar, lest thy steed spew critical hardware unto thy lawn afore thee, causing a sadness upon the wallet.

For yea, it sayeth in the book of Quad:
Check closely thy oil before thou ridest afar, lest thy steed spew critical hardware unto thy path afore thee, causing a sadness upon the land.

For yea, it sayeth in the book of Outboard;
Check closely thy oil/fuel mix before thou boateth afar, lest thy steed spew critical hardware unto thy wake afore thee, causing a sadness upon the waters.

For yea, it sayeth in the book of RV Generator:
Check closely thy oil before thou vacation afar, lest thy genie spew critical hardware unto thy path afore thee, causing spouse to speaketh a language not to be heard.
