Hampton is good for me...but looking at the poll, it was closer to 20 wasn't it? just looked at bith polls...one had 16 votes and the other had 19 votes....

I kinda figure that some won't be able to make it due to the date and maybe some will share a room, I don't know why I said 15. 20 would be good then.

might be best to start far away and work back towars hotel;) call that a lessons learned...i guess your kevlar britches are a lesson learned too???

"Most" of the bars in Helen, including the two "biker" bars, are in the middle of town.
Most (not all) of the motels are on the southside, close to a carryout/liqour store.
All within staggering distance.

Hampton is more expensive, but you do get free breakfast.

coacha......are you going to call for a rate? I would suggest you overbook a room block, with right to cancel any remaining rooms like 30 days out. Most motels will go along with this type program.
Once you decide on location, and if you want, I can go over and negotiate.
