Tank of gas = ???

::) On the weekend I rode 112mi. and then I put in 15 liters, just under 4 gallons. I feel something is wrong here, I have the 1600 model with the power commander. Does anyone have any experience in setting the power commander? I think this might be a reason for the bad fuel consumption. Any feedback would be appreciated.

thanks

On Sunday I averaged 50.2MPG on about 130 mile stretch of road. It wasn't on flat terrain, went from 3,000' to 7,100' back down to 1,000'. That's a first for me, though. I think the best I'd ever seen prior to yesterday was 48-point-something MPG.

So my question is how far can you go.
You had the extra gas in case it ran out so .....

I find it is really variable depending on wind and riding speed.

On a trip last week I went 196 miles on 4.2 gallons on one tank doing 55-60 mph. (very slight tail wind of 5-10 mph). On the very next tank the wind shifted and came on a bit stronger, and I turned into it and sped up to 72- 75 mph and got 163 miles on 4 gallons. (Actual miles and speed.)
