Nomads at Devil's Tower and Badlands
Just a couple pics to show what a group of Nomads look like for those that couldn't make it to Custer.
  Nomads lined-up at the Badlands of South Dakota   38 Nomads arrive at Devil's Tower; and on the way there  Dan Lund up to his old tricks again, only this time without his bike.

NICE!!!!! That tower is a pain to capture i guess. i was there in 05 and it was a gray then, so contrast was a killer... My shots are worse than this one, but my wife drew it for me, only her way..
She made it like it shouyld be all celtic knotts and gods!

Every picture that shows bikes (on the highway and parked at the entrance to Devil's Tower) is a Nomad. It is just that they are not all lined up and easy to count -- but I believe we had 38 on the ride together.
Here's a closer pic of Devil's Tower. A really stange sight to see in person. You can't see them; but there are two base-jumpers sitting on the edge of the top with their feet dangling over it. Not exactly a comfortable feeling for me -- even with a parachute.

The only thing stopping him was the number of people around those areas and the fact that it is a national park -- with federal rangers -- with strong handcuffs, and a jail. ;) Even that almost did not stop him. I could see his thoughts churning. :) It was too bad you couldn't have made it. Overall it was a great trip and lots of fun riding.
