12 Volt Air Horn

This is a 12 V model, I believe you don't need a compressor. Anyone have one? Anyone ever install one?

It has a compressor integrated into it. It's just the blacked-out version of the Stebel Nautilus many have installed on their bikes over the years. I had one on my Nomad.

You see that round cylinder thing? That is the compressor.
It is just like a Stebel.

CJ and I were typing at the same time.

The previous models I have seen had a compressor you had to locate elsewhere. This model is not new?

No, it's been around for years.

I seperated the compressor from my horns and hid it under the tank, just because I could.

I have found one of the horns I will be installing. I am going to mount it under my rear rack facing down. I will then find a couple of nice trumpets to mount facing forward under the bags. Not sure what trumpets yet.http://www.jamestowndistributors.com...ct.do?pid=5623
I found a site that has this under $100. but they don't have as nice a picture.

I used Fiamm trumpets mounted on the LH side just below the fuel tank. They worked better than stock, but not nearly as loud as a Stebel.
