selective enforcement operation.
That's what they call it now?
That must be what they are doing here in NY when they wave cars and trucks through and stop every motorcycle that comes along.

Guess you are probably right TC. Glad they got this guy. He could have caused some serious problems for himself and others.

Need to move down here TC. I've been waved through every insurance and DWI checkpoint on the Nomad but checked every time I'm riding on 4 wheels. Guess they figure the chances of hurting someone else on a bike are much slimmer than in a cage.

Sounds like he's in some hot water, they impound your vehicle here for anything over 30mph over the limit.

Selective enforcement doesn't do anything for me. If they are having problems they should stop everyone. We don't all ride Mc's all the time, talk to everyone, get the word out. This guy was not being nice, glad they got him off the road.
Three of us were stopped for going 68 in a 35. We weren't actually and we were given tickets $375.00 and 8 points. None of us were together we went through this cops radar at different times the same night. Went to traffic court and the judge threw all 3 cases out. :)
Evidently the officer has a habit of stopping MC's and somehow they all have the same charge and fines and points. Go figure, he is no longer working for that town. ;)

Good thing they caught him. In AZ, 20 MPH over the posted speed limit is felony speeding and they lock you up.

20 over on some of those desert highways is nothing. With a good alignment and cruise control, you could take a short nap.

Getting an insurance renewal should be interesting.

In the paper this day - No insurance, no motorcycle endorsement and the bike had 'fake" motorcycle tags. He was employed by the local Honda/Kawasaki dealer.

nothing like good press for the motorcycle industry. You'd think they'd require a motorcycle endorsement to work at a dealer.
