Glad you made it through your adrenaline moment unscathed.

I wonder what drama it caused on the freeway below?

Happy to hear you "made it out alive" CJ....I think a lot of us have seen things come flying off of trailers, etc. I was riding one day and some guy had bicycles tied/strapped down on his tent trailer. I watched in horror as both started sliding off the top of the trailer toward me. I managed to scoot up beside him and got him to pull over. All was well thank God. A friend had a heavy rubber mat fly out of a pick up and just clipped one of his mirrors. But had he not ducked, would have taken him out. We have to keep that distance you were mentioning. Again, real glad you are OK.

Close calls CJ. Glad you are OK. I wonder what those rails landed on at the bottom?? Whenever you are down in South Louisiana, keep your distance behind boats on trailers. They are notorious for something flying out at eye (windscreen) level like ice bags, styrofoam ice chest lids, plastic bucket lids and sometimes even a 5 gallon plastic bucket. It's worse after the fishing trip because the boat is one huge garbage can until it gets back home and is emptied. Ride safe.
