Good morning 4* bright, the sun is rising over the knob. the temp will be about 26* by 6 pm. yay...
No footprints to the window and no animal carcasses on the door. Phew....

We had a strong south wind most of the night so we stayed warm overnight after a very nice day yesterday. It's 33* right now BUT, we have a winter storm moving in tonight with a winter storm warning for tonight and tomorrow calling for 4-10 inches of snow. We have definitely had the cold all winter but not the snow. Last snow over 1 or 2 inches was October. Well, time to get the snowblower hooked to the lawn tractor tonight.

Good morning all,.......snowed a little over night. It's not suppose to be but it's still snowing, and it's -12*C. Great news for sledding. I hope to get out there today. T I have to fix my winch on the ATV first though......it broke while snowplowing my Dad's driveway. Not sure why it would break though.

..Spent the day (60's and broken overcast..calm) with my fellow old disenfranchised aviator friend "Big Thunder"...we hung out at the local airport..telling war stories and giving free advice to all that were lucky enough to benifit from our knowledge.. (?)

...Stopped at the military surplus yard..bought some packettes of "ration heating blocks"..for my next long distance ride ! (better than -flint & steel, for starting a camp fire)

I agree, weather is weather and there is nothing we can do to stop the rain (by the way today rain again

high of 28* and partly sunny, finally.

The wood pile is almost down far enough that I should see Hollie by next weekend.

27*F, getting a bit warmer but hey, it’s February tomorrow and that’s good, 6 more weeks before we can take out the Nomad. Just hope mother nature collaborates with this need to ride soon!!!!

Good morning. It was 17 this morning and woke up to 11 inches of fresh snow. Just finished running the snowblower and clearing the driveway. Takes a while to do over a tenth of mile. This is the most snow we have had all winter.
