Trip to Natchez MS
Last Sunday, the wife and I got up early, hopped on the bike, and took a trip to Natchez. It was a beautiful day, but very windy ( gusts to 30mph ). The trip is a very pretty ride from Baton Rouge. Four lane highway, rolling hills, and not much traffic. Saw a number of hawks along the way. One took off and flew about four feet over our heads. Ate at Lil Dagos in Natchez. Excellent Italian, very reasonably priced. Small, but great atmosphere. If you are ever in the area, take the ride to Natchez, and eat at Lil Dago's. It's worth it! Beautiful ride, beautiful weather, good food, great day.

Sounds like another ride for the bucket list Doc. If your wife loves to ride, I have one just like her. She rode 633 miles with me last Monday and 631 miles Friday. I have to push it out of the garage and down the driveway to ride by myself. ::)

Yep. We can make that one too. I really think y'all would like that trip. My wife does like to ride with me every time I go out. I don't know if she really likes it that much , or she thinks I have a girlfriend. Lol !! Seriously, she enjoys it as much as I do. Because of her knees, we have to stop every couple of hours, but other than that, she's fine. 600+ miles !! You guys are serious!! That's good. Would she go when we go to Avery Island? If so, I'll bring along my better half, as well.

Natchez is a beautiful city and have ridden through it a few times. Give me a day and I will try to make it over and ride with you guys. If I get my wife to riding maybe she will be up for a nice ride over to Mississippi. I lived in Meridian for over three years and still have Mississippi in my blood.
