I cannot believe that we are talking about wearing leather in August.

They're forecasting a longer and colder than normal winter for us this year.

What a great ride. Weather was fantastic and views even better. Thanks to Neil, Evan and Laura for great company, as usual.

Best ride of the season for sure total miles for Laura and I 297 now that's a ride !!! Hardly any traffic. The views were great, Bub's BBQ is always good and always enjoyable riding with you guys. We need to do it again before it gets crazy with the fall foliage traffic.

Got home at 7:30. The ride, company, and food were excellent as usual. I'm glad Martin decided he wanted to ride up in to Vermont. That road was great. We were the only ones on it for a while. The ride home on Rt. 2 was good. No traffic at all. Just kept my fingers crossed that the Moose and Deer would stay in the woods. Lots of crossing signs.

Will post a short video in a few minutes.

The ride up Rt. 2 to North Adams, MA. I stripped out the audio. It's a short almost 7 minute video.

Nice video Neil. It's much better with the camera not sitting behind the windshield. Glad we rode into VT rt. 100 and 112 was a very good rd. Forget traffic there just wasn't a whole lot of cars on any of the roads. Of course Laura and I get stuck behind some ma and pa doing less than the speed limit on the way home twice actually. Burns my britches I want to get home and some ma and pa are just putting along.

BTW Neil, the Pike was a parking lot. I crossed over it on 49 back in Sturbridge and traffic going East was basically stopped. That would have been a nightmare of a ride home.

Nice photos Evan. All I've got are a bunch of selfies so I am not going to post those.

Glad I didn't take the Pike as usual. Next weekend will be even worse. Labor Day weekend is the weekend to stay home.

Yea but Evan likes to push it 10 miles over even though he says it's only 5 miles over.
