Thanks guys for all the positive feedback. Glad everybody likes the mod. I actually sold out of the first batch I made pretty quickly. But I'm restocked again and with spring coming soon I'm sure these will be gone before I know it.

Thanks again

It is. Hardest part is fiddling with those tiny little screws. Put some light colored cloth under the area where you are working in case you drop one during install.

I have read a lot about the throttle modification and decided to give Dave's kit a try. This is an email I sent to Dave after I did the install.
"A little customer feedback. I received the throttle mod a few days ago and it took about 30 minutes to install. About 10 of those were because of my heated grips. Fit fine and easy to install ring. Readjusted cables and went for a ride. A huge improvement as far as reducing the herky jerky. Not completely gone but 90% better and a side benifit was that it reduced the popping/backfire in the exhaust which is 75% better than it was. I am not totally sure if the throttle mod or throttle cable freeplay adjustment helped with the popping. I have only about 400 miles on it since install so time will tell. So far I am satisfied and like the results. Thanks Dave.

Jim

Great product.. installing instructions were very good.. Can't be the price to give you a way better throttle response... Great job Dave !!

Dave got the package yesterday, and installed to day. Will test on the weekend.I never really had an issue with my throttle response to start with ,but everybody claiming a much better feel with it,I thought I would give it a try.I see how it works now and how the throttle full movement is much shorter to full throttle. Thanks again for providing the kit. Gord
