Forgive my ignorance here but what do you mean by that?
The LEDs are a side-emitting self adhesive led strip from Auto-Zone. No brackets just peel and stick. I cut the plug ends off the OE wires and soldered them on.
My flash rate is normal because I did the electronic flasher conversion detailed in the "electrical" forum. I'm on my phone or I'd include a link. The conversion is MUCH simpler on the Vaquero because of separate indicator bulbs.
The run/turn/brake module is an add on to convert the existing turn signals to multi purposed running lights, turn signals, and brake lights.

Thanks for the info jestephens! Its a great idea. Did you use an existing license plate bracket for the new one? I'm going to have to do a little looking around now and see what I can come up with. I personally am just looking to be able to remove the chrome turn signal assembly and relocate as you did.

Still looking to hear how you did the licence plate light, unless you don't need one that is?

Where did you get or make the carbon fiber brake light border?

Also, what are you going to do with the hole where the license plate goes?

I thought these would be cool too, but I'm not sure if your fender has more space between the bags than mine does. Those things are 0.3" wide. My fender almost touched the saddle bag in a couple places (actually it did touch until I tweaked a bracket to even the space). I don't think .3 will fit. PLUS, mine were under $20 at Autozone and look great. I won't stand in the way of giving it a shot

Regarding a lic plate light. I've got an idea for one, but I'll worry about it when it becomes an issue or if I get anxious enough to do it.

Redking, here's the thread about my carbon fiber-look. http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=29600
I'm not sure which hole you mean, but the license plate covers all three holes. The bottom grommet keeps the lic plate from hitting any paint

Honestly, I wasn't the first to do this either. Roger at 2nd Chance Customs in Pekin, IL did it to his Vaquero first. Find him on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/2nd-Ch...8916923?ref=ts

Started with a piece of steel. Cut it to length, trimmed the corners, drilled 4 holes, and paint. Super easy DIY

I'm not saying I want to go that route, but what is a "hydrographic film" how do they work and where do you get them put on?

Also, how much does the smoked headlamp cover reduce the lights brightness?

Many Thanks

I only smoked the tail light.
It really didn't affect it much, just a subtle difference

The headlight is LED projector bulb, so it doesn't need a chrome reflector, that's why it is black. The lens is clear though.

Hydrographics is a film/paint process. Search it on Youtube, or check out the page of the shop that did mine: http://www.midwesthydrodesigns.com/

I think that the plat interrupts the flow of the back end and I wan to put it on the back of the saddlebag. I wonder how much work it would take to weld in a piece to cover the current license plate hole and repaint the fender.

I say go for it. I tried to hang my plate vertically first, but the mounting holes for a necessary bracket were too close to the mounting holes of the plate, alas not close enough

Even on the bag, you may want to consider a vertical orientation
-Find a way to fill the void left by the OE signals - and a strange [now more visible] gap left between the inner and outer fender.

A curved plate holder would help too. Kuryakyn has those for sure.
