Vaquero tail end mods

Or the original title, "Everyone Needs A Cleaner Hiney"
Since the very beginning I've been messing with my machine. But this weekend things have come together quite nicely. (that doesn't mean "Finished" )

the (almost) original look experimenting with potential exhaust ideas:

Today:

If you decide to do the same or similar, making a lic plate bracket was amazingly easy!

With OE removed:

My new hand fashioned bracket:

Side-emitting LED strips for turn signals. Will eventually be paired with a run/turn/brake module:

I'm looking to do the same turn signal mod

I was eyeing up these from custom dynamics make.

THAT'S IT! That is exactly the lights I had been looking for! I had seen them some time back, but lost the link.
Note to self - DON'T LOSE THE LINK!

Looks good. Yeah, I wondered about the light for the plate also since it is a Illinois law. I have seen small lights that replace top license plate bolts, may be just enough to be legal. I also like the carbon fiber, makes the transformer face not so obvious.

Very nice! I've been looking around at changing the tail of my vaquero as well. I love what you did with the lights. What are you using the hold the LEDs in place? Did you just tie into the turn signal wires for those? I'm assuming you'll have to put a "loader" on them to get the stock flash rate? You mention tieing into the run/turn/brake module. Forgive my ignorance here but what do you mean by that?
