Robert --- Are you getting the chopped or razor tour pak? Keep in mind that the razor is only big enough for either an amp or a toothbrush, comb and extra pair of socks. If you're getting the chopped version, I think the new LED rear lights (for the Ultra RG tour pak) will fit. That would be an awesome combination.

I had the GIVI box on my previous bike. It is the Box and the quick disconnect plate. I bought mine off of a dealer. It was a display unit. I made the mounts. I used strap aluminum and painted it black.

Got the part number for that trunk? Or the year/model it came from?

That is not a Harley trunk. Looks like a Mutazu DMY.

I think I'd rather find a Harley trunk. They seem much better made than any of the aftermarket.

No it's not a HD trunk. The price was right and it's only a temp solution until I sell the Vaq and get the Voyager.

Did you just bolt the luggage rack to the quick release brackets that mount on the bike and remove the backrest bracket?

Yes that's what I did and added some spacers to raise the front of the trunk so that it tilts back some. The wrap around back rest was pushing forward and made it awkward for the passenger.
